E-Commerce Offer for Small Businesses Extended Through June 30
Apr 15, 2020
The spread of COVID-19 is impacting businesses of all kinds. For small businesses, it’s meant closing their doors and/or limiting customer interactions to slow the spread of the illness.
Now extended through June 30, small businesses can create a FREE virtual storefront on local e-commerce platform Cedar Rapids Area Shop Where I Live where they can sell gift cards and/or list information like take out menus, store hours, or even a link to their website to support lead generation. Additional benefits are being offered to Economic Alliance members, including listing up to 25 merchandise or promotional items for free.
How to Get Listed and Start Selling
Interested businesses can sign up on the site's Vendor Registration page to get started, and Cherie Edilson, Co-owner of Shop Where I Live will help set up businesses’ storefront. The process is tailored to businesses' preferences, with little to no maintenance required.
Shop Local Now
Support local, small businesses from the comfort of your couch (or kitchen, or bed, or anywhere in your house!) on the site now. Your local faves are available all in the same place.
