Nov 17, 2020

As part of a their membership with the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance, members at the Visionary level and higher receive the benefit to gift a membership to a non-member charity, nonprofit, or startup of their choosing. The opportunity allows the organization to access all of the many member benefits available including referrals, sponsorship opportunities, marketing promotions, networking, and other business resources.

In mid-October, Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust awarded the African American Museum of Iowa with a year-long membership. LaNisha Cassell, executive director with the African American Museum of Iowa, accepted the award, presented by James Klein, president of Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust.

“We’re so grateful to be able to have this opportunity to be able to share more about what we do through the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance, and through the gift from Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust.” - LaNisha Cassell, executive director, African American Museum of Iowa.
