Leadership for Five Seasons Adult Class of 2022 Announced
Jun 30, 2021
Each year, 35 of the area’s next generation of leaders embark on a ten-month journey known as the Leadership for Five Seasons (LFS) Adult program. LFS is a premier community leadership program that focuses on developing top talent through a formal leadership curriculum. LFS provides participants with community knowledge, connections and inspiration to make a positive impact on the community. Participants are selected from area businesses, public and private agencies, civic services and other organizations.
The LFS Class of 2022 marks the 39th anniversary of the program, which includes Adult, Executive and Youth programs.
Thanks to Scholarship Sponsors Shive-Hattery Inc. and Van Meter, two scholarships were offered this year.
The Shive-Hattery scholarship provides the opportunity for individuals employed by a small business, nonprofit or self-employed, three industries that are historically the most underrepresented. Nic Hartmann of Family Promise of Linn County is the LFS Adult Class of 2022 Shive-Hattery scholarship recipient.
The Van Meter scholarship focuses on diversity and inclusion, most especially for people of color. Sofia DeMartino of Horizons is the LFS Adult Class of 2022 Van Meter scholarship recipient.
Congratulations LFS Adult Class of 2022!
