Market After Dark Attracts More Than 29,000 in 2017

The third year of Market After Dark took over downtown Cedar Rapids on Saturday, August 26. More than 29,000 people came to the heart of Cedar Rapids for the unique event.

Nearly 100 local Iowa vendors lined the street of the venue, selling traditional market goods, a variety of prepared food options and more. Market patrons filled the bars and restaurants that participated in the event's open container policy.

The Brazilian 2Wins and The Getaway City Band rocked the Main Stage, and patrons enjoyed entertainment around every corner like Prestige Lighted Ballerinas, Radiance Fire and more.

Thank you to all Market After Dark attendees, as they supported local Iowa businesses both downtown and throughout the Corridor. Thank you to presenting sponsor, The Gazette Company. We could not have pulled off this event without our sponsors and our volunteers. We are sincerely grateful for their support and help!
