This weekend is turned up to full blast with family time, great food, spectacular and inspiring entertainment, a dash of history, and exploration of some brand new amenities!

Friday

5:00 p.m.	Meet colleagues at Sacred Cow Tavern for a drink after work to celebrate the holidays. The place is sure to be packed and festive!
7:00 p.m.	Head over to Bari Italian to meet the family for a nice dinner. Wine and pasta is just what we’ve all needed after a long week.

Saturday

10:00 a.m.	Peruse Siegel’s Jewelry & Loan Inc. for a vintage trinket to include with the wedding gift for the ceremony and reception we’re attending later.
1:00 p.m.	Squeeze in a stop at the Grant Wood Studio before the wedding. They’re only open a few hours each weekend, and family from out of town want to explore a piece of local history.
4:00 p.m.	Attend the wedding and reception at The HarMac venue. The vibe is industrial chic and the wedding is beautiful.

Sunday

11:00 a.m.	Sleep in from a previously busy day and have brunch with the family in town at the brand-new Big Grove Brewery. It’s a great addition to the Cedar Rapids skyline.
5:00 p.m.	Bum around town shopping for holiday gifts at local shops and restaurants before meeting back up at MidTown Reserve for a delicious steak dinner.
7:30 p.m.	Take in a show at Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre to cap off the weekend and get inspired for the next week ahead!
