We are a Hunger Relief Organization that has been in business for 15 years. Started as a Hunger Fight (packaging event) that eventually became a 501c3. We empower people to save starving children. What makes us different is that 100% of the meals (Taco Mac and Hearty Pack) are packaged by volunteers. 90 cents of every $ goes to feeding expenses. We serve IA (850,000 meals), areas of crisis nationally (3M) and the rest (majority) are distributed globally where it may be the only meal of the day for those in need. We are part of a feeding initiative network which includes Convoy of Hope and Food Pantries throughout Iowa including HACAP. We need both volunteers and financial contributions. Our focus is Education, Engagement and Feeding. 1 in 8 Iowa children don’t have enough to eat 66 million children worldwide go to school hungry Every 10 seconds a child dies of hunger-related issues
