Passing this bond is a vital step toward restoring our district to the very top in the nation, where our students belong.”

House District 80 Representative Aime Wichtendahl echoed her support said, “I believe in Cedar Rapids Schools and that is why I am voting yes on Nov 4. CR schools need vital updates that will not only enhance student safety but ensure that our schools will be able to offer the best education to our children.”

“It’s rare to find 100% agreement in politics today, but our state legislators know how important our schools and kids are to our future, that’s why everyone is asking their constituents to vote YES on November 4th,” added Barbra Solberg, Believe in CR Schools Chair.

District 42 State Senator Charlie McClintock concluded, “by passing this school bond, the community will be investing in our students’ learning environment, their safety, and everyone’s future. A good education is vital to Iowa’s workforce, economy, and growth. Now is the time to show our kids just how much they mean to us, and Cedar Rapids.”
