Alumni Dues
Your organization invested in your participation in LFS- Will you pay it forward?
Starting their first calendar year after graduation, LFS alums are encouraged to contribute alumni dues to invest in the next generation of leaders in our community. Alumni membership dues directly fund the LFS Youth Program and also support LFS alumni events. The combination of alumni dues and corporate sponsors allow area high school juniors to participate in Youth LFS at no cost to them, their family, or their school. Youth LFS serves as an important training and workforce retention tool for Cedar Rapids and inspires increased community pride in our young people!
Alumni dues can be paid via check or online credit card in the following increments and is typically collected each year in Q1:
- 1 Year Membership: $50
- 3 Year Membership: $125
- Lifetime Membership: $500
**Alumni dues goes towards the calendar year within which it is paid, unless paid in November or December at the Holiday Breakfast, when it will count for the following calendar year.
While late dues will be accepted, payment is encouraged in Q1 (January- March) or prior to the Spring Event, as that is for dues-paying alumni only. Reminders will be sent out to alumni via email, social media, and an online payment option will be visible at the top of the EA events calendar.
Dues Paying Alumni Benefits Include:
- Exclusive invite to the LFS Alumni Spring Lunch & Learn (April) – For dues-paying alums only
- Reduced admission cost to LFS Annual Golf Outing in August (up to $50! – that’s one year of dues right there!)
- Continued networking opportunities and eligibility for LFS Advisory Board
- The warm, fuzzy feeling of giving back to the program and keeping it going for future generations
