The MedQuarter Regional Medical District Launches New Website to Better Connect Patients, Businesses and the Community
December 10, 2025 | Community Development

The MedQuarter Regional Medical District has launched a fully-redesigned website at www.themedq.com, creating a more intuitive, informative and accessible online hub for patients, visitors, businesses and community partners.
Leaner. Stronger. More engaging. These were the central goals when the project began in June with the guidance of the MedQuarter’s Branding & Marketing Committee working with JW Morton & Associates. From early web planning to wireframes to final design, the focus stayed on making it easier for people to find what they need in the 55 square block district.
“Our goal was simple. Make it easier and faster for people to get to the information that matters most,” said Phil Wasta, MedQuarter Executive Director. “The new site is designed as a connector. It links patients to care, residents to things to do, and businesses to the tools they need to succeed in The MedQuarter.”
Themedq.com serves as both a connector and a pathway to deeper information. Key features include:
- Clear, easy to use directories. Streamlined directory listings connect users directly to listings for providers, clinics and services, sending visitors to the most informative sites for each
- organization in the district. Patients can search for care options that fit their needs for both physical and mental health.
- Business and economic development resources. Businesses can access information on economic development and business support, façade improvement opportunities, city resources, and plans from recent years. An economic development overview and related tools make it easier for employers and investors to learn about opportunities in the MedQuarter.
- Things to do in the MedQuarter. A “Things To Do” section highlights restaurants, services, shopping and experiences. This section supports local businesses by giving residents and visitors a simple way to explore where to eat, shop, and spend time in the district, including during the holiday season.
- District directory beyond health care. In addition to medical providers, the site offers a directory for other businesses located in The MedQuarter, making it a single stop to discover the full mix of services and amenities in the area.
- News and events in one place. A refreshed News & Events section presents updates and activities in a simple, blog style format. Users can quickly see what is happening across the district in one location.
- Accessibility and ease of use were core priorities during the redesign. The site is fully responsive on mobile and desktop. An accessibility widget allows visitors to adjust settings to fit their needs, including options that can support colorblind users, increase font size, improve contrast, and simplify layouts. These tools help ensure more people can comfortably access information about The MedQuarter, services and experiences.
“From web to wireframe to launch, this website was built with the user in mind at every step,” Wasta said. “We want patients to find care quickly. We want families to discover things to do. We want businesses to feel supported. The new site helps bring all of that together in one place.”
Information on the site will be kept current so visitors can rely on themedq.com as an accurate, up-to-date resource for The MedQuarter Regional Medical District.
