Kay Fisk’s weekend plans include a delicious dinner with friends, volunteering, admiring the holiday lights around Cedar Rapids, some shopping and maybe a little letter writing as well.

Friday

5:00 p.m.	Meet friends for dinner at Crosby’s. The Baked Brie is beautiful!
7:00 p.m.	Stop by the Holiday Lights at McGrath Amphitheatre—what a beautiful stroll!

Saturday

11:00 a.m.	Pick up a volunteer shift to deliver food to our elderly neighbors with Horizons’ Meals on Wheels program. It is such an important program serving our community, and giving back is something I’m passionate about.
2:00 p.m.	Stop by White Lion Treasures to see what’s new. I always find a trinket or two!
3:00 p.m.	Swing through Czech Village to Czech Cottage for a few gifts. Their glass pieces are incredible, intricate, and make stunning gifts.

Sunday

11:00 a.m.	Head out after morning coffee to do some self-care shopping for myself. The Funky Zebras has the most interesting and unique accessories—I always find something at a great price.
1:00 p.m.	Pop in to Scribe Stationer to marvel at all of the carefully crafted letter-writing supplies. There’s always something new to consider, and writing and receiving mail the old-fashioned way always makes me smile. The adorable holiday cards and washi tape come home with me.
