The company’s Cedar Rapids facility plays an important role in that network. For nearly a decade, it has provided value-added services including fresh produce repacking, processing, ripening, cold storage, and distribution for restaurant chains, grocery retailers, broadline distributors, and food manufacturers across the Midwest. One of four R.S. Hanline facilities in the eastern United States, alongside locations in Ohio, Michigan, and Georgia, the Cedar Rapids operation supports a distribution network that reaches 35 states and nearly 65 percent of the U.S. population each day.
Looking ahead to 2026, R.S. Hanline & Co. is preparing to celebrate two major milestones: 40 years of operational excellence and innovation, and 10 years of produce shipments from its Cedar Rapids facility.
