The Cedar Rapids Kernels are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. They are located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and play their home games at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Kernels Foundation has always been the proud charity arm of the Cedar Rapids Kernels ball club and has provided much more than monetary donations. They provide the underprivileged youth of the Cedar Rapids community the dream to play baseball completely free of charge, provides a memorial scholarship to first year college students and encourages tens of thousands of elementary kids to read throughout the dog days of summer.
