Are you a Downtown bar/restaurant?
Inside the venue: We’d love to have you participate in Market After Dark as a Participating Establishment! This allows you to wristband patrons, offer beer and wine for taking outside your establishment, and gives your business promotional perks! Contact our events team at events@cedarrapids.org!
Outside the venue: There are many ways to still be involved in the Market After Dark festivities. Stay tuned for more information on participation closer to the market!
Volunteer at Market After Dark!
We couldn’t do this event without many helping hands!
Our markets run on volunteer power! Your gift of time allows us to continue operating the Market After Dark each year, and we’re so grateful. Shifts are available throughout the day, and are in two to three hour segments, allowing a volunteer to give of their time and energy but still have the opportunity to enjoy the market before or after they work!
Volunteers are given a flashy t-shirt to wear during their shift, and we prep you with a quick training you can do on your own time. Our staff will reach out to you a few days before with any important info you need to know, and we make sure your shift is fun and meaningful!

Minimum age for volunteering is 14. Ages 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult. Must be 21+ to work in a beverage tent.
